Enterprise-Joseph Lions Club
Ferguson Ridge Ski Area (Fergi) is sponsored by the Enterprise-Joseph Lions Club, a proud member of Lions Club International, whose mission is to empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions clubs.
The Enterprise-Joseph Lions Club provides Fergi with liability insurance, as well as volunteers for special events at Fergi like the Eagle Cap Extreme Sled Dog Race. The Enterprise-Joseph Lions Club also provides an array of support for community members and organizations, which includes:
FUNDS:
-for sight and hearing correction for local community members
-for safety equipment for local youth sports teams
SCREENING:
-sight and hearing screening annually at each of the local public schools
INSURANCE:
-for the Wallowa Valley Community Ice Rink in Enterprise (in addition to Fergi)
SCHOLARSHIPS:
-support for local graduating high school students and
continuing education students
US FLAG DONATIONS and flag education for all first graders in Wallowa County
SUPPORT for special community requests
The Enterprise-Joseph Lions Club raises funds through a variety of fundraising efforts, including a spring yard sale at the Cloverleaf Hall in Enterprise.
